I cannot stop ordering and reading books right now. Maybe I am now changing my personality and have become a book worm or maybe i am spending less money as i am not spending my money on my DVD frenzy i have.
In under 2 days i finished "The Time Travellers Wife" so I can see the film on 24th August. It was amazing!
I then ordered "Cold Mountain", "Practical Magic" and "My Sisters Keeper". I am, leaving to for when |I go on holiday so i have something to read. You may think "Oh no, now she is reading books that Nicole was in the film version." You would be right but it keeps me reading and they aren't the exactly the same as the books.
I recently say "My Sisters Keeper" and i loved it, yes I cried, and Abigail and Cameron were absoloutley amazing! Way to go Cameron! The whole cast was great too!
I have to say that I prefer the film's ending than the book's.

I am thoroughly impressed that anyone could read TTTW in 2 days as it is a large and imposing book. I myself had to stop and look up a few things, mostly having to do with paper making, some art history, one French phrase, I think, and some philosophical background on something and even the biological processes which were mentioned towards the end. Although I was thoroughly impressed, even if the last hundred pages were somewhat overwrought, it is certainly a weighty book.
1One word of suggestion: the library makes reading even cheaper!
I love to read and I think it is wonderful for you!! A big stress reliever for all of us who do it!
2Yes libraries are good but when you have lost 2 library cars they get rather angry with me
With TTTW I didn't understand why there were some French phrases thrown in. I know that he helped her with her homework which included French.
3I love TTTW SO much! I think I've read it 4 or so times now.
4Have you read "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides? If not, I highly recommend it.
I haven't read that book. If I can find it I will. Are you going to see the movie Madchen of TTTW?
